Character Name: Keyleth of the Air Ashari
Species: Half-Elf

Canon Point: Mid- time skip. Approximately Episode 95.

CRAU Explanation: Prior to her arrival to the Labyrinth Keyleth had accepted the alluring temptations of a fox god and was pulled into the world of Folkmore. She was placed in a role of a Legend, a creature that by nature was "good" and subsequently experienced physical changes that accented her legendary role. She lived in Folkmore for nearly a year and within that time was able to protect and value the limited time she had with her paramour Vax, who was also living in the world of Folkmore. She dug into the details of the fox god that had tempted them, assuming that she was an archfey who was somehow feeding off of their power to create the world of Folkmore. She wanted to end this but was conflicted because in this world she was able to be with her love Vax who was going to be stolen by the Raven Queen upon their return to their home of Exandria. The Raven Queen is a god and for all these reasons, Keyleth hates gods and is forcefully distrustful of the fey race. The other major part of her that was changed while in Folkmore was her fear of drowning and water during a flooding event. She has developed friendships and deepening relationships with castmates and others however when arriving to the Labyrinth I'd like for her memories to return slowly and be hazy with her last memory being of floating in an endless black space. She will not have returned to Exandria from Folkmore but stuck until her wish is granted.
Character Appearance: Keyleth is a twenty two year old young half-elven woman standing about 6' tall, with fair skin, green eyes and shoulder-length red hair. She has freckles on her nose and cheeks. After joining the Slayer's Take, Keyleth has the brand of the guild on her right arm. Keyleth also has tattoos along her chest, shoulders, and back to symbolize the Mantle of the Tempest when she's not wearing it, as a reminder of her position as the Voice of the Tempest. Kiki is wearing earthy colored tunics and pants. She's almost never seen without her signature "antlers", a druidic circlet, and the Mantle of the Tempest, a long cloak made of dark green leathers that unfurl into autumn-colored leaves. Nothing listed here is a magical item and will appear with her, except for her mantle which she'll have to work to have returned to her due to its status symbolism.

Powers and Abilities: Keyleth is able to use her abilities as a Druid which are listed on her Wiki as Druids can use a vast number of spells (assuming they have the components for them). She also has her Fey abilities which give her dark vision and lets her mediate instead of sleep. While in Folkmore she's also gained the ability to use Evocation spells, specifically the blooming blade cantrip. She was also practicing with daggers with help of Vax because powers within Folkmore were randomly taken away and she wanted to survive without her magic. What Did Your Character Wish For? "I wish... I wish it didn't have to end..." - Referencing her time in Folkmore, unwilling to return to Exandria where the world is always at peril.

1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
The most important and defining relationship for Keyleth is as follows in descending order: her mother, her father, the people of the Air Ashari, Vax, Tiberius, Percy and then the remainder of Vox Machina.
Her mother holds the most important position in her life because it is her mother's disappearance that begins Keyleth's story arc. Her mother doesn't return from her aramente and after several years have passed the next talented druid, Keyleth was to perform the aramente in her place and become the Voice of the Tempest, leader of the Air Ashari. Keyleth felt the weight of the position her mother left behind and didn't want to let down her father or her people who had already experienced the loss of her mother. She had to be strong but constantly doubted her abilities as a leader but was forced to move forward by her beholden to her father and her people. She's recently accepted the role of Voice of the Tempest but it is unfamiliar to her and she continues to doubt herself. Her mother's disappearance forced her to grow up at a young age and before meeting Vox Machina, her only friends were the animals of Zephrah.
2. What are they most afraid of?
Keyleth has many fears and worries but what she's most afraid of is the future and what that entails. Time has to continue onward however, her life is destined to be long due to her position as voice of the tempest. Even after "death" she won't get rest unless killed. After over a thousand years of life she'll walk among the trees of Zephrah and become a tree to continue to watch over her people. This means that she'll watch as everyone she loves dies and never be reunited with Vax, her lover, who's soul will be taken by the Raven Queen who is the goddess of death. She will never be reunited with Vax and doesn't believe that she'll be able to truly accept the distance that fate put between them.
Additionally, Keyleth blames herself for not only Vax's death but his situation with the Raven Queen. She wasn't powerful enough to bring him or his sister back from the brink of death and while it isn't her fault, a part of her feels as if she could have done more. All of this makes the future and that loneliness terrifying.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Physically, Keyleth isn't a strong hand-to-hand fighter. She has strong magic but without it... she's at a huge disadvantage. Her mental and emotional weaknesses steam from the above question. Kiki is scared of failing. She doesn't want for her loved ones to suffer, not Vox Machina nor the Ashari people. The reasons for this are detailed in question 2.
4. What would make them happiest?
Her happiest would be to have Vax with her forever, watching over the people of the Air Ashari or even in death where their souls could meet.
5. What’s their type for a lover?
Her type of lover is the charming half-elf rouge Vax'ildan. He not only constantly keeps her on her toes but is honest with her and supports her. What's more, he accepts her as she is and see's the positive aspects of her personality that Keyleth is unable to see in herself. He's always been a support and while not always vocal, she can feel his strong and steady presence. His ease in social situations is something that Keyleth looks up too. They are very different people but complement each others perfectly, making up for each others weakness. An example of this is how Keyleth accepts/judges people at face value while Vax waits and watches before making a judgement. Keyleth can be impulsive when angry and Vax pulls her back; which she then also tries to do for him as well.
